In total, 630 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and nearly 35000 visitors are expected from April 1 to 4 at the AERO Friedrichshafen international general aviation trade show in Germany. The trade show is one of the most important professional events in Europe dedicated to all segments of general aviation.
risingSUD and the economic development agency for the Hautes-Alpes department will be present at this event for the second consecutive year. They will provide support to six companies from the Sud region exhibiting at the trade show: the Alpine Flying School, the Barcelonnette-Saint Pons Airfield, PNVM (a center dedicated to mountain aviation), G1 Aviation (design of ultra-light motorized [ULM] aircraft), E-Meca et FlyDOO (manufacturer of light hot air balloons).
The two economic development agencies are working alongside the French-German Business Club Provence (CAFAP) with the goal of continuing discussions begun in 2019 and meeting new prospects to encourage investment in aeronautics in the Sud region.
There will be two events held at the regional stand to present the territory’s aeronautics ecosystem and its latest innovations.
