”2020, the “Annus Horribilis” with its natural disasters, epidemics, controversies, and crises, is finally gone.

2021 arrives with a predictable set of difficulties, but I want to remain optimistic because, just like last year, we will fight, we will overcome, and we will emerge victorious after facing the challenges that lie ahead.

Yes, our beautiful region and many of our companies, especially in specific sectors, have suffered and are still suffering. However, if, like last year, we remain UNITED in our support of our people and our economy, we will get through this complicated period.

I want to use this opportunity to sincerely thank all of you for your unwavering efforts, involvement, and readiness. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the entire team at risingSUD because nothing would be possible without them.

So, for 2021, I wish you and your loved ones good health above all else because this is our most precious possession. I also wish you happiness and a return to the normality that we all miss so much today. My greatest hope is that we can free ourselves from this climate of anguish and anxiety as soon as possible.

Until we meet again in person, which I hope will be very soon, let us continue to build TOGETHER for the future success of the companies and territories that make up our beautiful Sud region.

With friendship and best wishes to all of you…

A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021!”

Bernard KLEYNHOFF, Regional Councilor, President of the Commission on Economy, Industry, Innovation, and New and Digital Technologies, President of risingSUD

Sans titre”Our region’s economic decision-makers and entrepreneurs have been exceptional in the face of the crises that have put our certitudes, organizations, and models to the test.

The regional economic development agency has tirelessly devoted itself to meeting these new challenges by co-designing and deploying the regional recovery plan.

In 2021, more than ever before, we will be working alongside and supporting all those who are responsible for the “economic health” of Provence, the Alps, and the Côte d’Azur.”
