The MED4SCALE-UP Accelerator by the Sud Region: Three Maritime Companies Selected

The second phase of the MED4SCALE-UP Accelerator has been launched and three rising stars from the regional maritime economy have been chosen to take part in the program. The MED4SCALE-UP Accelerator, which is implemented within the framework of the EEN network and financed by the European Commission with the support of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, is operated by risingSUD. The second edition of the regional acceleration program, which begins in February, is dedicated to innovative companies in the maritime sector that they have been in existence for a maximum of seven years and that are known as scale-ups* due to their growth potential.

Selected companies benefit from a program that is adapted to their sector and that will, over time, enable them to grow by expanding internationally. To meet this goal, they will receive individual coaching, participate in two workshops on themes specific to the maritime sector, and take part in a trade mission to Hamburg.

At the end of the selection phase, which ended on January 22, 2020, the companies Okargo/EUREKA, Transpare, and Smart Sailors were chosen for this made-to-measure support program that will run throughout the year 2020.
