A look back at CES Las Vegas 2024

After a successful trip to CES Las Vegas, our 15 regional start-ups* are back from Nevada with a wealth of new contacts and superb international business opportunities!

From January 9 to 12, a joint team from the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, risingSUD, the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis, the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis, and the Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolis were in Las Vegas to support the region’s high-potential start-ups as they showcased their innovations and developed new prospects for the future.

For the 7th year running, there was a dynamic regional stand located at the heart of the pavilion organized by the national French Tech network. It was a home for start-ups in the South of France involved in cybersecurity, mobility, entertainment, robotics/artificial intelligence, green tech, smart city, health tech, tourism tech, blue tech, and the metaverse.

The regional stand showcased  the expertise and excellence  of the South of France in the Eureka Park venue. It was officially opened by a high-profile delegation that included Renaud MUSELIER, the President of the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region and Delegate President of the Régions de France; Bernard KLEYNHOFF, the President of risingSUD and Regional Councillor; and Arnaud MERCIER, Mayor of Venelles and Delegate Metropolitan Councillor, representing Martine VASSAL, President of the Bouches-du-Rhône Department and the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis.

CES 2024 was also an opportunity for risingSUD to meet innovative international companies working in the fields of the energy transition and Industry 4.0 that could benefit from setting up operations in the South of France in the future.

A range of new economic opportunities is now on the table thanks to this successful mission to the world’s leading technology event!
