Europe renews its confidence in Enterprise Europe Network France Méditerranée
18 September 2025On September 17, the European Commission renewed the France Méditerranée consortium’s mandate to operate within the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) until 2028. At the same time, a new member will join to further boost innovation and international expansion for companies based in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica.
Coordinated by risingSUD, the France Méditerranée consortium is made up of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and the Corsican business incubator Inizià, with the ADEC Corsican Economic Development Agency now joining as the new member.
Supported by the European Commission, EEN is the world’s largest network dedicated to supporting European SMEs and start-ups with more than 600 partner organisations and 3000 advisors in 60 countries. Since 2022, the EEN France Méditerranée consortium has been mobilising its expertise to help companies in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica to transform, innovate, and conquer new markets. By facilitating international trade, access to technology, and research exchanges, it plays a key role in business growth and development.
In total, 1900 businesses in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica have used the services of EEN France Méditerranée and nearly 250 of them have benefited from enhanced support. Half have already achieved concrete results such as European funding, collaborations with investors, R&D partnerships, or commercial distribution agreements.
With the new mandate running from 2025 to 2028, risingSUD, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Inizià, and ADEC are reaffirming their commitment alongside EEN to support SMEs in facing current challenges by focusing their efforts on three strategic priorities:
- Facilitating access to European and international funding
- Strengthening the position of regional companies in European markets
- Transforming businesses by integrating circular economy practices, energy efficiency measures, corporate social responsibility protocols, and digitalized processes.
Thanks to the complementary nature of the four regional structures and the EEN’s European network, businesses in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica benefit from tailored support to boost their competitiveness and influence in Europe and around the world.
“The renewal of this partnership demonstrates Europe’s confidence and embodies our shared vision of an innovative South of France that is open to the world and resolutely focused on the future. By combining regional proximity with international ambitions, the France Méditerranée consortium is establishing itself as a powerful lever for building a more innovative, sustainable, and resilient economy.” – Audrey BRUN RABUEL, the Managing Director of risingSUD
“This renewed partnership with the EEN is much more than a contract: it is recognition of the strategic role we play in Europe’s innovation landscape. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur’s team is proud to support bold SMEs that are seeking to innovate and export. And thanks to the impact of a strengthened EEN France Méditerranée network, we are opening up genuine opportunities for companies that want to grow on a European scale.” – Daniel MARGOT, Acting President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur
“The EEN France Méditerranée network offers businesses in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica a real springboard for their development and international expansion. As a member of the consortium since 2015, Inizià is fully committed to supporting entrepreneurs in Corsica as they innovate, grow, and conquer new markets. The renewal of this partnership reinforces our commitment to them.” – Emmannuel PIERRE, Director of Inizià
“By joining the Enterprise Europe Network alongside the existing consortium partners, ADEC is affirming the Corsican authorities’ desire to position our region as part of the European drive for innovation, competitiveness, and transition. The complementary nature of our regional incubator strengthens our overall ability to support Corsican businesses in their international expansion while consolidating an ambitious economic policy that is forward-looking and rooted in the realities of our region.” – Olivier MOSCONI, Acting Director General of the Corsican Economic Development Agency (ADEC)
