Report back on our mission to Estonia

The risingSUD team was on a mission in Tallinn, Estonia in May to participate in Latitude 59, a major event for start-ups and digital technologies in Northern Europe.

 

Renowned for its dynamic atmosphere and numerous networking opportunities, this trade fair attracts entrepreneurs, investors and public decision-makers from around the world. Last year, it welcomed nearly 3000 participants from 65 countries and more than 800 start-ups. 

 

During risingSUD’s first participation in the event, our agency met with leading Estonian companies in the Smart Tech sector and key institutional economic players. In collaboration with Business France and the Fondation Sophia Antipolis, discussions were held with around ten companies considering setting up in the South of France.

 

Several Estonian business leaders attended a special networking event with His Excellency Emmanuel MIGNOT, French Ambassador to Estonia, at the French Residence in Tallinn. The economic strengths of France and the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur were presented.

 

With its competitive start-up ecosystem and large number of scale-ups and unicorns, Estonia is a prime destination for regional prospecting.
