BIOFIT, the international biotech event, comes to Marseille
29 November 2023On December 12 and 13, Marseille will host the 12th edition of BioFIT, Europe's leading event for technology transfer and for identifying early-stage innovations in life sciences from public research institutions, academic spin-offs, and emerging biotech companies.
More than 900 stakeholders in the human and animal health sectors from more than 35 countries will come together to develop new partnerships, identify innovative R&D projects, and facilitate the emergence of collaborative projects.
A key feature of BioFIT is its efficient partnering platform for scheduling meetings between public and private sector actors. It also provides a showcase for licensing opportunities.
Pitch sessions, a conference schedule with 60 international speakers, and networking events will set the pace for these two days, which will followed up with a digital event on December 15.
On this occasion, the risingSUD team will be working with the Eurobiomed health technology cluster to promote the ecosystem established around the innovative healthcare strategic sector in the South of France. On December 11, the day before the opening of BioFIT, an international delegation of 45 biotech and medtech leaders will tour the Sophia Antipolis BioParc, which is dedicated to life sciences, and the APHM public university hospital system in Marseille.
