05 April 2023Every year, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region welcomes great moments of sport. And soon, the eyes and cameras of the whole world will be focused on us...
In 2023, 10 key matches of the Rugby World Cup will be played in Nice and Marseille. And in 2024, the Olympic flame will start its journey in Marseille, before the Olympic sailing and soccer tournaments kick off!
Because, more than ever, the South of France is a land where victories in sporting and social challenges are being won
our 2023 Assembly General will address the theme of:
'Sport & Impact: a victory for regional attractiveness'

The philosopher and university professor Isabelle QUEVAL will set the framework for the discussion, and then lead a round table with four personalities:
- Mathieu FLAMINI, CEO de GFBiochemicals and former professional football player
- Emma CLAIR-DUMONT, entrepreneur and multi-sport athlete
- Christian CALIFANO, Eurosport commentator and former professional rugby player
- Hervé COLLADO, sports physician and head of the medical organization for the sailing events of the 2024 Olympic Games
The event will be concluded with an address by Renaud Muselier, President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region and Deputy President of Régions de France.
