Every year, risingSUD organizes two special financing committees on behalf of Region Sud. These comittees are meant to connect companies active in the region’s strategic sectors with both public and private investors (banks, business angels, foundations, investment funds) so they can move ahead with major projects or expansions.
These day long events are called “CoFIs” and they include:
1. A "project" sequence where leaders from companies with major projects for the region’s strategic sectors make pitches to both local and national financial backers.
2. A "business" sequence where representatives of regional companies in the process of raising funds present their business plans to private investors to convince them to invest.
